Technologies for Capturing 3D Genome Architecture in Plants

Abstract:ChIA-PET and HiChIP are high-resolution 3D genome mapping methods. They can detect site-specific interactions such as enhancer–promoter and promoter–promoter chromatin loops, which facilitate our understanding of plant 3D genome architecture and its functional implications in transcriptional regulation. Furthermore, ChIA-PET data enable us to identify plant regulatory elements such as enhancers, enhancer-like promoters, silencers, and repressors.
